The title of this session is “Policy to Practice: Creating a Culture of Safety at Your Camp Through Training, Supervision, and Internal Feedback Systems,” and it is offered by the Insurance Board. Please join us to explore practical abuse prevention strategies with a particular focus on elements of training, monitoring, and supervision. We will discuss how these components work together to reduce risk, strengthen accountability, and foster a culture of safety across your camp’s programs and your staff (both paid and volunteer). Jennifer Perri and Chad Cunningham from the Insurance Board will help you take a good look at your camp’s current policies and how you teach them to your leaders – starting with your staff this summer.
